Taiko Bar

A street cool cocktail bar that makes you feel like you’re in a speakeasy in Roppongi

Go down

What first started as a playful flirt between kitchen and bar, inspired by a shared love for Asia, has grown into a new phenomenon: Taiko Bar

With excellent service from some of Amsterdam’s best bartenders, supreme bites from Taiko Cuisine and a cocktail menu that makes you feel like you’re in a speakeasy in Roppongi, guests can expect all of this from the welcoming and casual setting of Taiko Bar. Taiko Bar translates the sophisticated nightlife of global cities such as Bangkok, Tokyo and Shanghai into the intimate, cosy setting of an Amsterdam neighbourhood pub.

At Taiko Bar, everything revolves around three elements: Asian flavours, international luxury and local roots

Taiko Bar boasts a completely new bar menu in which authentic Asian flavours and spirits play an important role. The Taiko bartenders have created playful twists and variations on classic cocktails that will guide you on a taste journey through Asia. Mixing the familiar with eccentric and exciting new ingredients, like in The Taiko Negroni with its house-made coconut gin, lemongrass Campari and Plum Sake.

The cocktail menu is accompanied by a refined range of first-class sushi, sashimi, gyoza and a new special: the one and only Wagyu Shawarma. Additionally, a selection of Taiko’s favourite dishes can be paired with the Asian drinks and cocktails, including our Zeeuwse Rocky Oysters, King Prawn Gyoza and Wagyu Nigiri.
