Ingredient of the Year

Inspired by the Chinese calendar, every year Taiko celebrates its birthday; Taiko New Year. This is also the moment when the new Omakase menu and Taiko’s new 'Ingredient of the Year' are being launched. For one year, this ingredient will be in the spotlight and used to create many unique and very special dishes.

After the great exposition for Wagyu, wasabi, King Crab and soy, Hiramasa Kingfish takes the centre stage from 14th October in the brand new Omakase menu of the much acclaimed Asian kitchen.

Executive Chef, Schilo van Coevorden: ''In this time where local is more important than ever, we found an excellent sustainable fish via Kingfish Zeeland. We cannot wait to take you on an extensive food journey.''

Taiko Summer Terrace

Our Taiko Summer Edition terrace is open and reservations can be made for each day of the week between 12 noon and 6.00 p.m. Maximum of two people allowed per table, unless one household. We absolutely cannot wait to see you! Should you wish to book a table on the Taiko Summer Terrace please send an e-mail to taiko@conservatoriumhotel.com, book your table directly online via the red Resengo button (at the bottom right) or call +31 (0)20 570 0000.

Additionally, our Conservatorium Counter with a special take away menu is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner to enjoy in your room or suite. Due to Dutch government instructions the Brasserie & Lounge and Taiko Cuisine & Bar are temporarily closed until at least 25th May 2021.
